Wondering where the hell your package is?

Apologies to everyone who has ordered something and not received an e-mail or their stuff yet. It’s thesis season in these parts and we’ve all been drowning in work.

I am taking a huge load of packages to the post office tomorrow (Monday, 4/21) morning. Odds are if you ordered something, and its in stock, it’ll be on it’s way.

You heard it here first! Starting this coming week, me (Adam), will be starting a cross-country tour with none other than this site’s namesake, the one and only Joe Kimpel. We’ll be visiting all kinds of people who, yes, do actually know Joe Kimpel. I’m hitting comics-related places all over this great nation, in all different cities (Highlights will hopefully include the Charles Schulz Museum in Cali among other places).

So keep checking back in the coming weeks to see all the Joe Kimpel photos and stories that we litter the countryside with.

Staff #1 is a personal anthology comic, leads off with the first chapter of Askem Paka, a story about a solitary woodsman caught up in ever-increasingly weird circumstances. See how it all started!

Charlito and Mr. Phil of Indie Spinner Rack came to CCS a couple weekends ago to interview faculty and students for their show. The first episode is up now, and it’s all Bissette! Check it out; we all love Steve.

Our production professor, Mr. Tom Devlin, posted some more photos from our Montreal trip on the Drawn and Quarterly blog.

We have a couple of our IKJK artists doing the D&Q internship this summer. Maybe they’ll blog about it.

Ivan Brunetti has been in town for a few days now. He was giving portfolio reviews to the freshmen yesterday and the seniors today. We get two more days of Ivan, Wednesday and Thursday, including the noon-5 Thursday session, which we’ve only been told is a “Lecture and Exercise.” I wonder what it will be……
